A new captain is given a mission: find a way to feed a planet of starving colonists. She is given a science vessel and a crew of top notch scientists.
And Edward.
Edward is a socially awkward scientist who is doing ground-breaking research with a species commonly known as “Tribbles”. He has discovered that the Tribble is mostly meat (under all that hair) and would serve as an excellent food source for the colony. one problem though: they reproduce too slowly to be of any use.
Fortunately, Edward solves this dilemma! But he unleashes something unexpected…
